2015 Spring Concert

Everyone spoken to agrees that our spring concert, on May 9th 2015 was one of our best. Thank you to everyone involved, including members of the orchestra, Francis Griffin, Nina Alupii-Morton and the Maynards who have worked so hard towards making this concert a great success. Last, but by no means least, a huge thank you to our audience, without who none of this would be possible.

Barry Stronge

It is with great sadness that we report the passing away of Barry Stronge over the Christmas period. Barry was the principal bassoonist at North Downs until a few years ago. After he stopped playing he maintained an active interest in music and continued composing for the rest of his life. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
