Next rehearsal

Our first rehearsal of 2015 will be on Sunday 4th January. Francis Griffin will be conducting the Schubert Great C Major Symphony, No 9, in the first rehearsal for his concert in May. If you haven't paid your subs yet, please bring a cheque or ask Peter for transfer details.

Merry Christmas

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. Thank you all for your support, whether you're a musician, audience member or backstage helper. Without you all we would not be making music in Tatsfield.

2014 Autumn Concert

The Autumn Concert was another great success, enjoyed by orchestra and audience alike. Our next concert will be on Saturday 9th May 2015.

Our September rehearsal will now be on Sunday 14th September and not the 7th as originally scheduled due to maintenance on the village hall floor. Edward Lewis will be conducting.

As usual, there will be no rehearsal in July or August. Our next rehearsal will be on Sunday 7th September at 2pm.

March rehearsal

Our next rehearsal will be for the May concert. Jonathan will be conducting and we will be rehearsing the Coates, Bizet suite 1 mvts 1, 2, 4 and suite 2, followed by the Vorisek. The aim is for the wind to end around 4.30. Strings will be needed till our usual finish time of 5pm.

February Rehearsal

Our February rehearsal will be on the 2nd at 2pm as usual. Brynly Clarke will be conducting and he hopes to bring a harp (plus harpist) and two extra horns. We'll be playing Faure: Pelleas et Melisande and Dvorak: Legends.
